Piero Munari

Between 2014 and 2018, Head of Investor Relations for the UniCredit Group. Implemented two strategic plans and a €13 billion rights issue. In 2017, ranked third as “Runner Up” in the IRO and, consequently, under his leadership, UniCredit ranked first as a European IR bank, as well as for Corporate Governance and Disclosure. While at UniCredit, Piero held a number of important responsibilities including Global Co-Head of Corporate Finance & Advisory and Head of Insurance Investment Banking. Between 2003 and 2007, Piero managed the European P&C Run-Off at Swiss Re and was an Executive Member of Staff in the M&A department of Zurich Insurance. Previously, he was Senior Vice President at JPMorgan Chase in European Financial Institutions and, before that, equity research analyst at Deutsche Bank.

Mara joined Arwin & Partners in November 2021. Mara was Head of Business Advisory for the North-West Region in Italy in the Wealth & Private Banking Division at UniCredit. Between 2010 and 2020, she spent almost ten years in the CFO Area of UniCredit, as Deputy Head of Group Investor Relations and Head of Fixed Income Investor Relations. During her tenure, she executed three Strategic Plans, a €13bn capital increase and three Financial Plans between €20bn and €30bn, including the issuance of Tier 1 and Tier 2 capital instruments. Prior to that, Mara spent nearly fourteen years in Investment Banking. Between 2007 and 2009, she was Co-Head of Branded Goods at UniCredit. Prior to that, she worked on numerous M&A and restructuring transactions. Previously, Mara was an Associate at Lehman Brothers London in the European M&A department and before an Analyst at Mediobanca (Structured Finance).

Daniele joined Arwin & Partners in July 2023. Before joining Arwin, Daniele worked as a sell-side equity and ESG analyst at the leading pan-European broker Kepler Cheuvreux. During his twenty-year career as an equity analyst, he covered various industrial sectors including Infrastructure (motorway concessions, airports, air navigation services), Telecom Services, Consumer Goods, Media, IT Services and Financial Holdings in Italy and abroad. Before joining Kepler Cheuvreux in September 2011, Daniele worked for nine years (2002-11) as a financial analyst at Banca Leonardo in Milan. He started his career working for Actinvest Ltd in London as a sell-side analyst focused on the Italian market. Daniele earned a bachelor degree in Economics at La Sapienza University of Rome in 1998 and a Masters in Finance at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in 2000.

Lavinia has been proud to work with Arwin as a consultant since April 2023. A former investment banker, she has 25 years of professional experience across banking, finance, strategy, public relations in the UK, Italy, France and Spain in the UK, Italy, France and Spain and as board member in Italy.
A graduate of Milan’s Bocconi University, Lavinia began her career in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston in London. Her banking experience spans mergers and acquisitions in the finance sector to the luxury goods industry. In this capacity, she also spent some time working in house at Italy’s state conglomerate IRI.
Pivoting her career to focus on C-suite public relations and strategy, from 2007 to 2023, Lavinia led communications and CSR for Italy and southern Europe for Credit Suisse. In this role, she coordinated all activities in this space across investment banking, private banking and asset management and Corporate Philanthropy. Lavinia has also worked as a strategic consultant for Italian midcaps including Tod’s, Ferretti Group, Intek and Ducati Energia.
In addition to her collaboration with Arwin, Lavinia serves as a trustee and independent director for listed and unlisted companies and she is a lecturer on Family Offices at Bocconi University. She is actively engaged in social initiatives as a Mentor to young graduates at Bocconi. She is also a member of the AIRC Lombardy committee, and a former board member of Junior Achievement Italy.
An expert in ESG, Lavinia obtained a CPD Certificate in Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge (2023), an Executive Master in “Digital Transformation” at MIP Politecnico di Milano (2021/2022), and a “Corporate Counsel” qualification from Bocconi (2018). She graduated with honors from Bocconi University in economics.
Lavinia is passionate about skiing, art and design.

From 2020 to 2024, he served as Chairman of AIAF, the Italian Association for Financial Analysis, which he still serves on the Board of today From 2004 to 2023, he was Managing Director and Senior Banker for Société Générale Italy, where he was in charge of the relations with the financial institutions. Previously, he led FIG activities in Italy at Lehman Brothers, handling investment banking transactions with Italian financial institutions. He also led Banque Paribas’ Corporate Finance activities in Italy. He spent 14 years in the Banca Commerciale Italiana Group, focusing on strategic finance, corporate finance and innovative projects. He was a board member of Lehman Brothers Italia, Fiditalia and SGSS – 2S Banca, specialist banks of the SG Group From 2004 to 2022, he served as Vice President of Civicum, an association focused on projects for the Public Administration. Author of numerous articles and research projects, he has been an assistant professor in the Department of Economic Policy at Bocconi University and NYU’s Stern School.

Matteo Manusardi between 2012 and 2017 led the M&A activity of the investment banking branch of the Banca Popolare di Vicenza Group. From 2008 until 2012 Matteo was head of the Equity Investments Department of Banca Popolare di Vicenza. In the years 2001-2008 Matteo was Director of the CIB department of BNP Paribas Milan, as head of the Italian activity of FIG M&A. Between 1995 and 2001 he gained a deep experience in Pasfin Servizi Finanziari, (part of the SOPAF group). He worked mainly in the buy-side Equity Research and Equity Sales desk departments on Italian stocks. In 1998 Pasfin was taken over by BNP. From 1990 to 1995 Matteo worked in Groupe Financiére de CIC et de l’Union Européenne (part of the French group GAN) in the Milan office, dealing with business valuations and Corporate Finance. Matteo started working by setting up one of the first Equity Research teams in Milan in 1987, again with Pasfin of the SOPAF Group.

Alessandro joined Arwin & Partners in June 2022 with the role of Manager Strategy with focus on project execution both in the IR and ESG. From 2018 to May 2022, Alessandro worked at Deloitte Consulting S.r.l reaching the role of Manager working on projects related to digital transformation and the implementation of new platforms for Asset & Wealth Management clients. Prior to that, between 2013 and 2018, Alessandro worked at leading companies in the Asset Management and Asset Servicing industry. In 2014 Alessandro obtained a Master’s Degree in Management of Financial Intermediaries at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza. In 2012 Alessandro obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan.

Alice joined Arwin & Partners in April 2023 with the role of Manager. Before joining Arwin, Alice worked for 13 years in the “Media & Communication” sector, in companies belonging to the British multinational WPP, as Communication Manager. Alice was also involved in pursuing activities with “Environmental & Social” objectives based on eco-sustainability, reduction of CO2 emissions and promotion of social issues, specifically in the D&I area. Alice has developed project management skills, coordinating the entire client management process, including Media Planning & Buying activities and return on investment measurement. Alice has covered different industries, including Automotive, Financials, Food & Beverage, Telecommunication and Luxury. In 2014, Alice earned a Master’s degree in “Digital Marketing and Communication” consolidating her previous bachelor degree focusing on “Markets and Business Strategies”.

Antonio Graus joins Arwin in October 2019 with the role of IR and ESG analyst. Execution on IR, ESG and responsible investment projects with private capital operators and listed companies. From 2020 he is a candidate for level I of the CFA Program. During his university career in “Economics, Finance and International Integration” at the University of Pavia, he participated in the CFA Research Challenge 2018 with the subject of Moncler SpA, winning the Italian competition and becoming a European finalist. The following year he obtained his master’s degree by presenting a thesis on the construction of option portfolios according to the “AFP Model” and the comparison between classical and modern portfolio theory. In 2016 Antonio completed his three-year studies in Economics and Finance at the Second University of Naples with a thesis focused on “Special Purpose Acquisition Vehicle (SPAC)”.

Gian Marco joined Arwin in September 2021 as an analyst, contributing to both IR and ESG projects. Graduated with honors in Business Administration at the University of Turin, he discussed a dissertation on volatility trading using financial derivatives. In 2019 Gian Marco obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics for Finance and Insurance from the Department of Mathematics “Giuseppe Peano” of Turin.

Michele joins Arwin in September 2021 as an analyst and participates in projects in both IR and ESG.
In 2022, he graduated in the Master of Science program in “Business Administration – Finance and Accounting” (delivered in English language) at the University of Turin. He discussed a thesis on “The integration of ESG factors into corporate strategy”, focused also on the relation between ESG performance and cost of capital. During his studies, he spent a semester at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. In 2020, Michele received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance at the University of Cagliari.
