In the last decade, the flows and AuM of European responsible investment funds have grown exponentially, also showing a high resilience against the COVID-19 pandemic. At the end of 2020, assets managed according to responsible investment principles exceeded one trillion euros and equity was confirmed as the preferred instrument (source: Morningstar). The study and monitoring of this trend become crucial for investor relations units and ESG managers in communication activities, in vestor targeting and launch of new products.
